An Intimate Sedona Wedding: A Celebration of Family at Amara Resort | Devon & TJ

Devon and TJ’s wedding at Amara Resort in Sedona was a beautiful testament to love, commitment, and the blending of two families. Surrounded by the breathtaking red rock landscape, they exchanged vows not just with each other but also with their children, creating a ceremony that was as heartfelt as it was intimate.

The day was filled with touching moments, especially when Devon and TJ wrote vows specifically to their new children. They each spoke directly to their new stepchildren, promising to love and cherish them.

TJ made the day even more special by giving each of his three new daughters matching jewelry that complemented their mother’s ring. Devon gifted her new sons with very sophisticated watches- all the gifts were a symbol of the new family they were forming together.

After the ceremony, Devon and TJ made their way to a serene riverbed on the resort property for their bridal portraits. The quiet beauty of the water and the towering green trees provided the perfect backdrop for capturing their first moments as a married couple.

It’s incredible to think that this beautiful union might never have happened if TJ hadn’t mustered the courage to “text the pretty girl he saw in a picture with his cousin”. That single message set off a chain of events that led to a day filled with love, family, and unforgettable memories.

Congratulations, Devon and TJ! Your wedding was a beautiful celebration of not just your love, but the love and unity of your new blended family. We were honored to capture these moments for you.

A Fun-filled Wedding in the Pacific Northwest Redwoods | Alex & Maddie

Nestled among the towering giants of the Pacific Northwest, Maddie and Alex embarked on a weekend wedding adventure at the Redwoods River Resort & Pub, turning their special day into a delightful celebration of love, laughter, and unexpected moments.

The ceremony, held beneath the ancient redwoods, took an amusing turn when a family member’s beloved bulldog, dressed as the Pope, joined in to bless Maddie and Alex. The laughter turned to aww’s as the couple's own fur baby, Charlie Girl, took center stage as the ring-bearer, adding a touch of adorable charm to the proceedings. With Maddie's brother serving as the officiant, the ceremony became a canvas of humor and heart, capturing the essence of the couple's vibrant personalities.

In a moment of unexpected comedy, the rings were accidentally dropped under the arbor, turning a potential hiccup into a heartwarming family affair. Amidst the laughter and camaraderie, it was our quick-thinking photographer; Justin Poole, and the ever-supportive father-of-the-bride who became the unlikely heroes, successfully fishing out the wedding bands and saving the day.

Maddie and Alex's love for nature took center stage as they hiked through the redwoods during their dating days, a theme that echoed in their wedding details. Each table was named after a National Park, honoring their shared adventures and the places that held special meaning for them. In a sweet twist, the couple opted for Nothing Bundt Cake instead of a traditional wedding cake, adding a deliciously sweet note to their celebration.

This Pacific Northwest California wedding weekend at Redwoods River Resort & Pub was more than just a ceremony; it was a tapestry of love, laughter, and the joy found in unexpected moments. Maddie and Alex's whimsical celebration in the heart of the redwoods became a testament to the magic that happens when love is embraced with a light heart and open arms, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
