Joseph & Veronika’s Sedona Engagement Session | Tlaquepaque

There are some places that seem to exist purely for romance, and Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village in Sedona, Arizona is certainly one of them. Aptly named “the best of everything” in the Aztec language, Tlaquepaque was the perfect setting for Joseph and Veronika’s engagement session, creating the feeling that we had stepped into the pages of a fairytale.

From the moment they arrived, Joseph and Veronika looked every bit the part of a modern-day storybook couple. Veronika wore a breathtaking off-shoulder Arabella cream dress by Arcina Ori, paired with slingback mesh heels adorned with delicate beaded floral details. Veronika’s stunning square-cut engagement ring from Braidy Jewelers added the perfect touch of timeless elegance. Joseph complemented her perfectly in a sharp navy suit, complete with his two-tone Rolex adding a subtle touch of timeless sophistication. Together, they brought an effortlessly elegant style to the charming streets of Tlaquepaque.

Then, as if Sedona wanted to add a little extra magic to their afternoon, the rain began to fall.

Rather than interrupting the session, the sprinkle became part of the story. Joseph and Veronika cozied up beneath the village’s beautiful awnings, embracing each other while the rain softly fell around them. There was something undeniably romantic about the contrast—the warmth between the two of them against the cool, rainy backdrop of Sedona. It created those quiet, intimate moments that make engagement sessions feel less like a photoshoot and more like a glimpse into the life a couple is building together.

When the rain gave us a break, the two took off hand-in-hand through the village, turning the winding pathways of Tlaquepaque into their own little adventure. With ivy draping across stone walls, grandiose wooden doors opening into hidden corners, and the unmistakable beauty of Sedona surrounding them, nearly every step offered another picturesque backdrop.

Adding to the atmosphere was a live band playing throughout the village, giving the afternoon a soundtrack that made the entire experience feel even more cinematic. Between the music, the rain, the architecture, and the two of them completely wrapped up in each other, it was hard to imagine a better setting for Joseph and Veronika to celebrate this chapter of their relationship.

Their engagement session at Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village was filled with the kind of moments that feel both elegant and completely natural—dancing beneath awnings, laughing between photographs, running hand-in-hand through the village, and simply enjoying being together. It was a little Sedona adventure that felt perfectly suited for these soon-to-be newlyweds.

Joseph and Veronika’s session was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most memorable photographs come from simply embracing whatever the day gives you. A little rain, a little music, a stunning setting, and two people very much in love were all it took to create something that felt like a fairytale.

Sumner + Nick | A Dream Wedding at The Tapestry House by Wedgewood Weddings

Some weddings stick with you forever — and Sumner (or “Sunny,” as her friends call her) and Nick’s wedding day at The Tapestry House by Wedgewood Weddings in Colorado is one we won’t soon forget. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this day was going to be special — full of personality, creativity, and so much love.

The morning started with the girls getting ready in the most charming little house right next to the venue, where the air was buzzing with excitement, happy tears, and plenty of laughter. Meanwhile, the guys were living it up in what might be the coolest “bachelor pad” AirBNB ever — complete with a bar in the downstairs portion. It was the perfect space for the guys to hang out, share a drink, and relax before the festivities kicked off.

Sunny’s attention to detail blew us away. She brought all sorts of incredible thrifted décor to make the day uniquely hers — a bold red loveseat, a vintage wicker chair, and even enough mugs to fill a mug wall for guests to take home as gifts. Every corner of the venue felt personal and intentional, telling the story of who Sunny and Nick are as a couple.

Their first look took place in the heart of The Tapestry House’s garden, where they stood under the towering trees and read their vows to each other privately. It was one of the most emotional and intimate moments of the entire day, and we were honored to capture it.

The outdoor ceremony was simply beautiful. Friends and family surrounded them as they said “I do,” with the historic Tapestry House behind them and the Colorado sky overhead.

As the sun set, everyone moved into the reception space for an evening of celebration. There was dancing, laughter, and plenty of heartfelt toasts. One moment that brought us to tears was when Sunny and Nick took time during their own toast to personally thank us. It’s moments like that that remind us why we do what we do — to capture memories that mean the world to our couples.

The staff at The Tapestry House deserve a round of applause. Their professionalism and care made the day flow effortlessly, allowing everyone — including Sunny and Nick — to simply enjoy the celebration.

Sunny and Nick, your wedding day was pure magic, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have been there to document it all. The love you two share is inspiring, and we know your story is just getting started.
